behind the build.

"Brick by Brick: Their World, Our Impact" is a powerful tactile-style typography poster created to raise awareness for children's health and the devastating consequences of climate change. The art piece features the attention-grabbing phrase "It's their world and we're just living in it," prominently laid over a carefully chosen news article from The New York Times, highlighting the urgent issue of climate change and its impact on the health of future generations.

The poster uses Legos as its primary medium, skillfully arranged to construct each phrase letter. The use of colorful Lego bricks evokes a sense of hope and childhood innocence, underscoring the significance of protecting the environment for the next generation's sake.

When viewers interact with the art piece, they will be invited to play a short video that complements the poster's static message. The video animation showcases the gradual transformation of the phrase "It's their world and we're just living in it" into "It's their world and we're destroying it." The mesmerizing process symbolizes the alarming reality of how human actions are causing irreversible harm to the planet and, ultimately, to the children who will inherit it.

The art piece's tactile and three-dimensional quality engages the viewer on a deeper level, allowing them to physically connect with the message. As the viewer runs their fingers across the Lego letters, they become more immersed in the artwork, evoking empathy and a sense of responsibility for the future.

"Brick by Brick: Their World, Our Impact" serves as a potent reminder of the collective responsibility we bear to protect the environment for the well-being of present and future generations. The ingenious use of Legos as a medium not only captivates the audience but also sparks meaningful conversations about climate change and the urgent need for action to secure a sustainable future for our children.
